(above) The construction of the first three buildings at Moorings Park Grande Lake has been completed much to the delight of its first residents.
Perhaps the most exciting news to be discussed during the webinar comes from Moorings Park’s newest Life Plan Community, Moorings Park Grande Lake. In April, following the completion of Phase 1, the community’s first residents began moving into their new homes.
“The Moorings Park team did an exceptional job of assuring that we are safe and secure. We are fully enjoying our new home,” stated new resident Eric Steenburgh. “Joanna and I are looking forward to many years of ‘Simply the Best®’ in our new home and community.”
New residents Larry and Chuckie McPherson added, “As we drove down the Little Lane corridor on April 15th, the street was lined with the team, masks on, hands waving to welcome us. We will always remember that day with fond memories and warm feelings.”
Moorings Park Grande Lake includes luxurious mid-rise residences and spacious penthouses. The three buildings in Phase 1 consist of a total of 47 residences, all of which offer panoramic lake and golf course views. Entrance fees start at $1.5 million and are 70 percent refundable. Assisted Living, Memory Care and Concierge Physician Services are included.
“While we have recently released Phase 2, there are so many advantages to grabbing one of the last few residences in Phase 1, including membership to Naples Grande Golf Club, located within walking distance of Moorings Park Grande Lake. Perhaps the most valuable part of the club membership right now is the access to the private beach club,” said Mann.
The membership includes golfing privileges on Naples Grande Golf Club’s 18-hole championship golf course, and dining options in its elegant clubhouse. Additionally, residents have access to Naples Grande Beach Resort and its Har-Tru tennis courts, fitness center and spa, resort-style pool and beach, and preferred pricing on hotel rooms and dining. This unique membership is available to Phase 1 residents until the community’s own spectacular clubhouse opens in late 2021.
Moorings Park Grande Lake is a pet-friendly campus and has been designed to take advantage of the views of a 28-acre lake and the picturesque golf course beyond.
The physical environment presents an innovative, resort-style blueprint that provides for seamless physical and visual experiences. It also maximizes the beauty and appeal of waterfront living combined with high-end materials and services.
“The community is designed to be unlike every other retirement community in the country,” notes Mann. “In fact, I think of us as the UNretirement community, which is why we’ve been so attractive to boomers.”
A few of the planned outdoor amenities include a yoga pavilion, walking paths, lakeside parklettes with boardwalks, gardens, fire pits and overlooks, several bird-watching posts, and bocce and pickleball courts.
Construction on the clubhouse has also quickly progressed which includes casual and fine dining venues, a private dining room, long curved bar, art studio, state-of-the-art fitness center, strength and cardio area, salon and spa, golf simulator, and a resort-style pool with poolside cabanas.
Also located in the clubhouse will be The Center for Healthy Living. The center is home to rehabilitation services, as well as the Care 360 concierge healthcare program, which was developed in partnership with NCH Healthcare System.
The Care 360 program offers a higher level of personalized primary care. Services are available to residents of Moorings Park with no additional fees, other than typical co-pays. The Care 360 concierge physicians are accessible by appointment, plus 24/7 access via phone, text or email.
Moorings Park, located off Goodlette-Frank Road just south of Pine Ridge Road, also has a limited number of outstanding residences available on its 83-acre campus, some of which can be found in the community’s two conveniently located towers.
Moorings Park’s Tower Residences consist of two, 8-story buildings. Both are located within steps of the newly renovated and expanded clubhouse at Moorings Park and offer some of the most panoramic golf and water views in the entire Life Plan community.
The residences in the Towers range in size from 882 to 2,700 square feet. They are perfect for individuals or couples seeking a maintenance-free lifestyle while living in a home that looks out onto the manicured grounds and shimmering lakes beyond.
Moorings Park at Grey Oaks offers an active lifestyle and award-winning continuum of care.
Residents there benefit from the affiliation with Grey Oaks Country Club through a Sports Membership, which is included with residency.
Through it, residents can enjoy use of both the Grey Oaks and Estuary clubhouses with three championship golf courses, two resort-style pools, a tennis center with eight Har-Tru lighted courts, and fitness centers featuring weight rooms and fitness classes.
Moorings Park at Grey Oaks also has its own beautiful clubhouse with casual and fine dining venues, a creative arts studio, state-of-the-art fitness center, salon and spa, rooftop gardens and fire pits, resort-style pool with poolside cabanas and bistro, and rubberized pet-friendly walking paths.
“There is so much happening at each of our three campuses that we decided that hosting a webinar would be the easiest and safest way to update potential residents on what these phenomenal communities have to offer,” stated Mann. “I look forward to sharing all the news with those participants on Thursday, May 21 at 10:30 a.m.”
