Earlier this year some residents of Moorings Park Grey Oaks participated in an event called “Nutrition Through The Senses.” During the event, the residents had the opportunity to make -- and then bake -- their own bread. And once out of the oven, everyone was able to enjoy the fruits of their labors.

Moorings Park announced that its A+ ratings by Standard & Poor’s Rating Services (S&P) have been affirmed. Moorings Park is a nationally accredited, nonprofit, Medicare certified community and one of the only A+ S&P rated Life Plan Communities in the country. 

A Life Plan community, formerly known as a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC), provides residents with independent living as well as a continuum of care on premises. 

Today’s retirees are looking for more than croquet courts when it comes to their amenities and activities. At Moorings Park Grande Lake, a multitude of both will keep residents active and engaged for years to come.
