“With the new Selection Studio, our goal was to delight. At Moorings Park new homeowners have a wonderful palette of choices including countertops, cabinet profiles, doors and door hardware styles, as well as plumbing fixtures in keeping with the latest design trends,” said Lori. “Then, in addition to the standard selections, we have added a variety-rich library of upgrades which allow for additional personalization such as a number of kitchen backsplash options, exotic stones and quartz countertops, recessed fireplace/TV features, etc.”
Streamlined Selections Process
Barbara Wagner, a professional design manager for Moorings Park Communities, helps streamline the selections process. According to Barbara, her mission – and one she takes great pride in – is to offer residents a high degree of personalization for their residence through a wide array of customization options.
“The most popular areas for customization include the layout of the kitchen, cabinets, countertops and backsplash changes, as well as tile changes in the bathroom,” she said. “New residents, depending on the residence chosen, have multiple options, from fully renovating their new home to some more moderate changes such as carpeting, flooring and paint.”
In the kitchen, the most popular customization options include the addition of bright kitchen islands that often result in the removal of walls, thereby allowing more natural light into them. Curbless showers, larger bathrooms and additional LED lighting in ceilings are a few others.
