The Park Grill is designed to offer Moorings Park’s residents, family members, and guests a new gathering place and dining experience. The use of natural materials such as stone and light, slightly rustic wood flooring, a bamboo wood ceiling, light colored shiplap paneled walls, open light spaces decorated with green plants, a vertical garden, floor-to-ceiling windows offering views of palm trees outside, and leather and linen-look seating will contribute to the space’s relaxed, casual feeling.
As a destination-style restaurant and lounge, the Park Grill will provide seating for 122 inside, including the lounge which offers a full bar, craft beers and wine. The lounge will be equipped with a television, fireplace and comfortable seating where lite fare can be enjoyed throughout the day.
There are also 32 additional seats in the covered and climate-controlled patio, which will allow for year-round outdoor dining.
The open-kitchen concept Park Grill will offer diverse dining selections ranging from center-of-the-plate grill items, fresh Asian wok dishes, brick oven pizza, pasta, and salads. The menu will rotate constantly while remaining focused on providing selections that are fresh, local, healthy, and fast.
Additional enhancements to the clubhouse will include a redesigned exterior arrival and entry sequence; a light-filled lobby with a 24-foot high ceiling, a new concierge desk, board room and conference center – to name just a few.
The lobby will feature expansive windows that will flood the space with natural light. At night, it will be illuminated with a tiered chandelier and cove lighting.
The new concierge desk, a focal point in the lobby, will welcome residents and guests alike.
The lobby flooring will showcase a custom inlaid design of interlaced circles. A rich palette of silver-toned grays, deep goldenrod, and a range of blue tones, accent patterned wall coverings, artwork, live plants, and streamlined architectural moldings and columns with stained walnut trim will provide an inviting ambience.
Additional changes to the clubhouse include the new board room with enhanced acoustics, audio-visual capabilities, and lighting, as well as an adjacent serving kitchen. A conference center with seating for 14, access to the serving kitchen, and views of a water feature at the front of the building, round out the list of offerings.
For more than 35 years Moorings Park has set the standard when it comes to Southwest Florida retirement communities offering luxury residences, world-class amenities and outstanding healthcare services.
The clubhouse enhancements are the latest indication of Moorings Park’s commitment to continuous improvement and to providing Simply the Best® services to its residents, including a continuum of care that features access to personalized healthcare 24 hours a day, seven days a week, lifestyle programs to suit a broad variety of interests and pursuits, and a wide array of amenities and activities.
Moorings Park is a nationally accredited, nonprofit, Medicare-certified community and the only A+ S & P and Fitch-rated Life Plan Community in the country.
For those looking to make Moorings Park their future home, the community’s two membership programs provide an opportunity for those individuals or couples to experience the community’s onsite healthcare, social activities and dining options prior to committing to residency.
The Platinum Membership was designed for individuals and couples who are within one to two years of making their residency decision. The Diamond Membership is available to those individuals and couples who are in the early stages of finalizing their retirement plans.
Both the Platinum and Diamond Membership programs are available for a one-time membership fee, plus a monthly charge. The membership fees can be applied to residency entrance fees at Moorings Park or at the Moorings Park at Grey Oaks campus once the decision to move into Moorings Park is made.
In the course of its history, Moorings Park has introduced a number of improvements to its healthcare program. One of its newest, Care 360, is available to the general public, as well as its residents and members.
Care 360 was created and developed through a partnership with Naples Community Hospital (NCH) and provides personalized healthcare based on a model akin to a concierge care practice.
A notable advantage is NCH’s affiliation with the Mayo Clinic Care Network. Due to this affiliation, Mayo Clinic’s physicians and specialists’ knowledge and expertise are now available to those participating in the program.
