Moorings Park, a nationally accredited, nonprofit, Medicare certified community and the only A+ S & P and Fitch rated Continuing Care Retirement Community in the country, announced it is developing plans for the construction of new Mid-Rise II Residences. As planned, Mid-Rise II will include three residential floors over parking and will join two previously completed residential buildings in Moorings Park’s Mid-Rise neighborhood. Mid-Rise II is slated to include 18 beautifully designed and spacious residences ranging from 2,200 to 3,300 square feet under air plus covered outdoor terrace spaces. As planned, a total of eight two and three bedroom plus den great room floor plans will be offered. Construction of the Mid-Rise II building is expected to begin in the near future.
The existing Mid-Rise Residences at Moorings Park are located at either end of a vast park-like setting with an expansive green space ideal for relaxing or reveling in the Southwest Florida sunshine. Plans call for Mid-Rise II to be situated between the two existing buildings and to front the green space. Numerous amenities that contribute to Moorings Park’s active lifestyle are within minutes of the Mid-Rise Residences, including the Center for Healthy Living, the upscale Trio Restaurant, Korest Plaza, the Bower Chapel, Bailey’s Place Pet Park, the Petti Center, the community’s tennis and bocce ball courts and pavilion, and the Clubhouse that is the heart of Moorings Park.

Life Care residents at Moorings Park are eligible to receive memory care assistance at Orchid Terrace as part of their monthly fees while individuals from the greater-Naples area can receive services on an all-inclusive month-to-month private pay basis with no entrance fees. The Sally and Bob Fritz Lilac Memory Care Center was purposely designed to provide a life-affirming and comfortable home that addresses the needs of those with memory loss or who are in the early stages of Alzheimer’s disease or some other form of dementia. Diamond members may upgrade to a Platinum Membership level that will guarantee their future residency at Moorings Park. The membership fees can be applied to residency entrance fees at Moorings Park or at the Moorings Park at Grey Oaks campus once the decision to move into Moorings Park is made.
