Moorings Park Grande Lake is starting 2023 off with a bang. With demand outstripping supply, the youngest jewel in the trio of superb Moorings Park Communities has begun taking reservations for its newest residential building, the Driftwood.
“The Driftwood features a dozen ‘Brooks,’ our most popular floor plan,” says Moorings Park Grande Lake Director of Sales Gina Paris. “Driftwood’s top floor will be a single residence, the spectacular ‘Laguna’ penthouse, with nearly six thousand square feet of luxurious living space. The Laguna is the most spacious residence available at our campus and one of the largest penthouses you’ll find in Naples.”
Residents of the Driftwood will enjoy spectacular views overlooking Vista Lake and the Naples Grande Golf Course, the Rees Jones-designed golf course which neighbors Moorings Park Grande Lake.
“Golfers in particular might find a Driftwood residence appealing, as the building is within easy walking distance of both the Naples Grande clubhouse and our own clubhouse, the hub of so much social activity here,” Gina points out.
Rees Jones has won awards for his work in golf course design, and the beautiful setting delights both golfers and non-golfers alike.
“Our residences’ lanais are so large they draw you outside,” Gina explains. “There’s enough space for an outdoor kitchen, outdoor dining area, and outdoor living room, with another bay outside the master bedroom. You could really live outside.
“With Driftwood being on the eastern side of the campus, residents can enjoy the relaxing panorama of lake and greenery without having to be in the direct afternoon sun,” she adds.
New residents will find a warm welcome awaiting them.
“This is a very social campus,” Gina says. “Everyone wants to meet everyone. We have a fantastic welcome committee which helps people get comfortable in their new surroundings. Because residents of a new building move in more or less at the same time, they’re in the same boat, and often bond over that. Their new neighbors become a valued part of their social network."
The many social and physical activities open to residents makes Moorings Park Grande Lake a vibrant place to live.
“Our lecture series is popular. One recent presentation focused on China’s relationship to Taiwan, while another looked at Nixon’s foreign policy,” Gina says. “One of our residents’ favorite topics is technology. In December, we had a presentation on all the different things you can do with your Apple Watch, which was very well attended.
“Of course, staying physically active is important to many of our residents, and our state-of-the-art Wellness Center offers exercise classes suitable for all fitness levels,” she continues. “Some can be very challenging, like our spin classes and bar classes. Residents who’ve never attended an exercise class may enjoy starting with our chair yoga classes. Many are surprised at how readily they take to exercise classes. And we offer everything in between.”
Trainers are available for residents who want a personalized program.
“Our outstanding and innovative approach to wellness was recently recognized by the International Council on Active Aging® and NuStep, LLC,” Gina adds. “We were one of only five communities in the country to earn their prestigious 2022 Pinnacle Award for ‘performance above and beyond’ in the arena of wellness and active living.”
“Moorings Park Grande Lake is truly an exceptional community. I hope people who want to enjoy living here take advantage of this opportunity and plan ahead,” Gina says. “We have no vacancies in our existing buildings and don’t anticipate having any in the near future.
“If someone is looking to move to Grande Lake in the next two years, this is the building for them,” she says.
