“How can baby boomers and seniors be guaranteed they are moving to a quality Life Plan Community with high standards? CARF accreditation is one of the easiest ways to get comfortable,” notes Tom Mann, a nationally known successful aging expert.
The Moorings Park Communities Vice President continues, “We’re very proud to be recognized by CARF with this essential accreditation. For over 40 years, this organization has earned a national reputation as a Life Plan community that upholds the highest of standards. We take great pride in providing both residents and nonresidents who use our services with an unrivaled level of care.”
The Commission of Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) has announced that Moorings Park Communities has been awarded a distinguished Five-Year Term of Accreditation.
It is the fourth consecutive term Moorings Park has been awarded this accreditation, recognizing its long-standing excellence as a Continuing Care Retirement Community.
“This achievement is an indication of (Moorings Park Communities) dedication and commitment to improving the quality of the lives of the persons served,” said Brian J. Boon, President and CEO of CARF International. “(The) organization should take pride in achieving this high level of accreditation.”
Measurable High Results Are a Prerequisite To Quality Service
CARF-accredited service providers have a demonstrated history of accountability and conformance to internationally accepted standards promoting excellence in service. An organization receiving a Five-Year Term of Accreditation has voluntarily put itself through a rigorous peer review process and demonstrated to a team of surveyors during an on-site survey that it is committed to conforming to CARF’s accreditation conditions and standards.
Moorings Park Communities is a nationally accredited, nonprofit, Medicare certified organization and one of the only Life Plan providers with A or A+ ratings by Fitch and S&P Global Ratings. With three campuses in Naples, it has been widely hailed as Southwest Florida's premier senior living organization, providing concierge physicians and a holistic approach to integrated health and wellness.
Mr. Mann adds, “The CARF accreditation process is very rigorous, which is why many senior living organizations don’t put themselves to the test. When you are starting to compare communities, you should always ask the following questions: Are you CARF accredited? Is your parent company a not-for-profit organization, and where are they located? Where is the executive team located? Are they out of state and out of touch?”
