Moorings Park, a nationally accredited, nonprofit, Medicare-certified community and one of two A+ S&P and Fitch-rated Life Plan communities in the country, recently celebrated the topping off of its new Mid-Rise II residential building.
To mark the milestone, 150 trade partners and vendors working on the four-story building, along with representatives from Moorings Park, and design consultants BSSW, Wegman Design, and Davidson Engineering, attended the lunchtime event which was hosted by General Contractor, Suffolk Construction.
Construction on the 78,816-square-foot building, which has a total of 18 luxury residences, began in Spring 2016 and is scheduled to be completed by the end of this year. All 18 of the two- and –three-bedroom plus den residences were sold in less than six weeks from the launch of the sales effort.
Mid-Rise II is the last of three buildings designed in the neighborhood known as Mid-Rise Residences at Moorings Park. All buildings are located within a park-like setting with expansive green spaces and gardens, with seating areas surrounded by tropical plants, ideal for relaxing or reveling in the sunshine.
In addition to the park-like surroundings, the residents of Mid-Rise II are within minutes of the many amenities Moorings Park has to offer including, The Center for Healthy Living, which includes a fitness center, salon and spa, an Internet café, and the multi-functional, 78-seat Sheffield Theatre, to name a few.
There’s also the upscale Trio Restaurant, the 230-seat Bower Chapel, Bailey’s Place Pet Park, the Petti Center with its pool and spa, the community’s tennis and bocce ball courts and pavilion, putting and chipping greens, and the Clubhouse, the recreational and social centerpiece of the 83-acre Life Plan Community.
Due to Moorings Park’s nearly constant 100 percent occupancy rate, individuals and couples making plans for their retirement years are encouraged to participate in one of Moorings Park’s membership programs.
The Platinum and Diamond Membership Programs are designed to provide those looking forward to making Moorings Park their future home an opportunity to experience the community’s onsite healthcare, social activities and dining prior to committing to residency.
Moorings Park’s Platinum Membership Program is suited to individuals and couples who are within one to two years of making their residency decision. The Diamond Membership is available to individuals and couples who are in the early stages of finalizing their retirement plans.
Both membership programs are available for a one-time fee, plus a monthly charge. The membership fees can be applied to residency entrance fees at Moorings Park or at the Moorings Park at Grey Oaks campus once the decision to move into Moorings Park is made.
Membership provides preferred access to all available Moorings Park residences, to Orchid Terrace® Assisted Living and Memory Care, and to The Chateau® Skilled Nursing on a private rate basis. Upon approval, Platinum Members will receive 24-Month Moorings Assessment Protocol (MAP) protection.
Additional services include the use of The Center for Healthy Living, as well as a fitness center, Sheffield Theatre, Internet Cafe, and the Rejuvenate Salon & Spa.
Members receive personal charge cards as part of their program. They also receive access to events at the Bower Chapel, and use of five casual and fine dining venues, including Trio Restaurant.
A Personal Concierge is also available to members Monday through Friday to secure dinner reservations, tickets, salon appointments, transportation, personal trainer appointments and more.
In addition to the membership programs, potential future residents are also encouraged to learn about Moorings Park’s Care 360 concierge healthcare program.
Through a partnership with Naples Community Hospital, Moorings Park implemented the Care 360 program, a concierge medicine model offering patients a higher level of personalized primary care. Platinum and Diamond members can elect to receive these services on a supplemental basis, although additional fees will apply.
