Moorings Park at Grey Oaks announced that Phase IV construction, including the thirteen Phase IV penthouse-style Residences at Grande Place, continues to progress on schedule for completion in first quarter, 2017. The beautifully designed and finished penthouse-style Residences at Grande Place were added to the design of the clubhouse being built during Phase IV. A limited number of completed move-in ready residences and just one Phase IV residence remain available. Introduced in response to the demand for opportunities to enjoy Moorings Park at Grey Oaks' continuum of care and active lifestyle, the Residences at Grande Place's two-bedroom plus den, two-and- a-half bath penthouse-style residences range from 1,858 to 2,696 square feet. The penthouse-style residences will be situated on the top floors of the Moorings Park at Grey Oaks clubhouse at Grande Place and will provide both elegance and convenience. Phase IV construction is progressing at a rapid pace. Grande Place will include a spacious and distinctive clubhouse, Center for Healthy Living, and Oakstone Assisted Living and Memory Care. During August, the outside windows and sliding glass doors at Grande Place will be installed and tested for water tightness. The kitchen flooring in the clubhouse will be installed along with floor mounted cooking and dish cleaning equipment. Application and painting of the stucco exterior finish will be 90% completed. At the same time, interior framing and drywall installation will continue on all five floors of Grande Place. Exterior doors at the Center for Healthy Living and the SandWedge Bistro will be installed and interior framing will begin. Excavation of the swimming pool and shell construction will begin. Installation of exterior storm piping, water mains and other utility infrastructure will continue and a backup power generator will be installed.
Grande Place will be situated adjacent to the Viridian Gardens that was completed in Phase III. The Viridian Gardens provides an open green space. An arbor in the center of the space is designed to provide a gathering place. Open multi-purpose lawn areas with smooth, finely textured grasses are intended to host a variety of activities, including bocce ball and lawn bowling, and to offer an outdoor venue for yoga classes, special events, festivals, and outdoor dining on special occasions.
