Moorings Park Grande Lake has become one of the most talked about new retirement communities in Naples, and the unique design of its gorgeous luxury buildings is a major reason why residences are selling out faster than they can be built.
The community’s popular Brooks model is a perfect example of the high design standards that make Grand Lake stand out from the crowd – and industry leaders have noticed. In recognition of the Brook’s outstanding blend of beauty, creativity and function, London Bay Homes’ Romanza Interior Design received the Sand Dollar Award for the model, which was named the “Best Interior Design of the Year.”
The Sand Dollar Award is presented annually by the Collier Building Industry Association Sales and Marketing Council, honoring the most innovative and aesthetically striking designs in the county. Top honors are given in a variety of categories, from interior designs in residential and commercial properties to product designs and whole house remodels.
“We were so proud to see the Brook receive this much-deserved distinction,” said Gina Paris, Sales Manager of Moorings Park Grande Lake. “When Luann Powers Gliwski was selected to create the signature look for this model, our expectations were high. But her design went far above and beyond what we imagined. She created a space most people can only dream of calling home.”
Luann Gliwski Powers is known for creating original, sophisticated spaces - a talent she brought to Grande Lake with tremendous success. Her work on the Brook accentuated everything from its soaring ceilings and light-filled room to its spectacular Grande Lake views. The result is a stunning and elegant living space where no detail has been overlooked.
“I can’t emphasize strongly enough that the views from each residence at Grande Lake are simply wonderful,” said Gliwski. “Not only is it a great selling point, but it was the inspiration for the design.”
The Brook boasts 3 bedrooms plus a study and 3 ½ bathrooms, with an open floorplan and expansive screened wraparound lanais, perfect for entertaining family and friends.
“We used the foyer spaces to set the tone and preview the palette used throughout the residences,” said Gliwski. “We wanted to highlight the flexibility of the space and maximize seating.”
The Brook’s other design touches include built-in wet bars and metal finishes inspired by its lake views. Private elevators and a gourmet kitchen with a center island are just few more of the many highlights of this beautifully planned residence.
Grande Lake Sales Director, Gina Paris, agrees that The Brook offers something truly special to the community. “The space allows residents to continue to enjoy a lifestyle where they can entertain friends and family and enjoy the outdoors,” she said. “When we tour the Brook model, we often hear people say they were not expecting it to be so bright and open. What surprises them is how the flow of the Brook feels like a single-family home.”
The Grande Lake community is also gearing up to welcome a new group of residents, as the eagerly anticipated KeyBay prepares to open its doors on May 10th.
The luxury residential building includes 22 residences, including 10 Spring model floorplans, 10 Cascade model floorplans, and two 7th floor penthouses. Residences range in size from 2,230 square feet to 5,065 square feet, not including the spacious lanais. The building is already completely sold out.
“With completion of the KeyBay building fast approaching, the Grande Lake team is preparing to help our new residents move in,” says Katy Kurili, Executive Director of Moorings Park Grande Lake. “You can feel the excitement building for both the partners and the depositors. It’s been amazing to see the community grow.”
“When it comes to helping our new residents move in, no detail is too small for our team - from finalizing the work of the designers and handling last minute requests from new residents to providing resources that facilitate the moving process,” she continues. “We want to do all we can to make sure everyone’s move goes smoothly.”
KeyBay was constructed by Suffolk, one of the most innovative and respected builders in the country.
