Dr. David R. Linz, MD, FACP, of the NCH Physician Group on Marco Island, has been named Site Lead Physician at Moorings Park’s Center for Healthy Living.
Dr. Linz graduated Summa Cum Laude from Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. After earning his Doctor of Medicine degree from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, he served his Internship and Residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh.
Dr. Linz currently serves as Chief Medical Informatics Officer for NCH Healthcare Systems. He is also a core faculty member of NCH Healthcare System’s Internal Medicine Residency program and holds academic appointments with the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science, and the University of Central Florida.
With medical interests in comprehensive and complex care for the older adult with an emphasis on wellness initiatives to combat disease, Dr. Linz stresses evidence-based preventative health measures including immunizations and diagnostic screenings.
