Moorings Park originated with the members of Moorings Presbyterian Church in 1977 as a non-profit Florida corporation designed to create and operate a non-denominational community where retirees could enjoy a secure, comprehensive residential and healthcare program full of recreational, social and spiritual opportunities. Today, Moorings Park Communities, with its three campuses, is widely known as the premier provider of retirement living in Southwest Florida and one of the only Life Plan communities with A+ or A ratings by Fitch and S&P. Residents live in luxurious residences with unrivaled access to upscale and casual dining, comprehensive physician services, state-of-the art fitness centers and engaging social activities. By providing Simply the Best® facilities and services for successful aging, Moorings Park Communities offers compassionate care to our residents.

Many of our homes and our centers are LEED Silver certified by the U.S Green Building Council (USGBC), a green-home certification program that rewards those that are designed and built to be energy and resource-efficient, thereby making them more healthy and durable for occupants.

As a member of the Naples community, Moorings Park Communities proudly notes its Social Accountability Program designed to identify and improve unmet needs of the area we serve. As such, we support dozens of community health initiatives by distributing grants to local non-profit and public health agencies.

The Moorings Park Foundation has achieved excellence, in part, through the generosity of individuals who have chosen to help advance its distinct mission through philanthropy and charitable giving. This generosity contributes greatly to our present and future quality of life. The Foundation also works with and supports outside organizations, when possible, in ways that benefit both Moorings Park and the participating organization.
